In order to be a representative of the whole Danube appellation KAMPTAL, terraced vineyards and grapes from the lower part of the valley, as well as grapes from the upper and higher altitude part of valley are used. The grapes from the lower part bring the maturity, whereas grapes from the upper part of the valley brings us the freshness in this wine. The ‘classical’ KAMPTAL wine is low in Alcohol (11,5 – 12,5%) and has a pleasant but not obtrusive aroma and fruit character and therefore is a perfect food companion.

    Wine Enthusiast 10/23: 87 Points

In this easy white, subtle notes of citrus and almond are underscored by racy acidity. The finish is straightforward and clean.

    James Suckling: 89 Points

Fruity nose of sliced green pears, guavas and green citrus. Tangy and crisp with easy green fruit in a medium body.

    Wine Advocate - R. Parker 12/22: 87 Points

This opens with a clear, bright and spicy, rather coolish bouquet of white seed fruits. Fresh and crisp on the palate, this is a light and perfectly fruity Kamptal Veltliner with a good, finely bitter and aromatic finish.

    JAMES SUCKLING 05/21: 90 points

This well-structured and crisp gruner veltliner shows plenty of green bell-pepper, green-bean and green-pepper character. A little short, but lots of character and very good balance.
